Multimedia
You can make your bot’s scenario more engaging by adding images, sounds, or videos.
Each multimedia file can also include quick replies. More about short replies can be found here.
Image
With the Image element, you can send a photo or gif to the user. Accepted file formats are:
- jpg
- jpeg
- png
- gif
The maximum allowable image size is 9 MB.
Sound
With the Sound element, you can send an audio file to the user. Accepted file formats are:
- mp3
- wav
The maximum allowable audio file size is 9 MB.
Video
With the Video element, you can send a recording to the user. The accepted file format is mp4. The maximum allowable video file size is 9 MB.
File
With the File element, you can send documents to the user. Accepted file formats are:
- doc
- docx
- xls
- xlsx
The maximum allowable file size is 9 MB.
Photo
The Photo element allows you to display an image available at a URL or stored in dynamic data or user variables. This element can be used to display files larger than 9 MB. Accepted file formats are:
- jpg
- jpeg
- png
- gif.
Adding and Deleting Multimedia
To add multimedia to a block, go to the “Add element to block” section and select the type of multimedia you want to add. If you don’t see the option you want, click the “+” icon to expand the submenu with additional elements.
After adding the element to the block, add your selected file by dragging it into the browser or clicking the “Select” button.
To delete a multimedia file from the structure, you must remove the entire element.
